NineMoons Talks About Fatigue

Once again, I begin this entry with an apology for the sudden decrease in posts on this blog.

The truth is, I'm kind of scaling back my Granado Espada playing time. Recently, my main reason for logging in at all was to farm Sun Stones for my pet Pilfurr Po - but even that wish was foiled, since the particular Poison Yard I entered was also occupied by people who insist that Super Fight maps are nothing but personal PvP shooting ranges. To no avail did my family carry the "Farmer" signs over their heads - they still got hunted as though they were animals.

In order to NOT lose my head in anger, I quit doing even that. People have to have their fun, and I decided to give mine up so others can enjoy theirs.

I'm sure Po will find it in his furry little heart to forgive his negligent mistress.

I wanted so much to increase the number of Veterans in my Rembrandt Barracks, but, well, I'm not sure I should be looking forward to the many days of grinding that I need to put in. And that's not mentioning the months it will take to train one single trio up to Expert level, too.

Certainly, there is no point in asking for the return of certain items if the regional distributors have already made it clear that the matter is not in their hands to control.

Certainly, there is no real reason to ask for an increase in experience rates.

Just to make it clear - I am not whining, I don't want anything, and I have absolutely no intentions of asking for sympathy. All I'm saying is that right now, the fatigue has set in, and I'm having to dig deep in order to find the reasons for me to stay in the New World.

Also, I wanted you all to know this because it is thanks to you that this blog has existed and flourished at all - and now that it seems to be undergoing a [temporary, I hope] downturn, I hope that you can understand, in one way or another, me, and my reasons why.

MMO Burnout? Even the most passionate gamers get it from time to time. Suggest you get some rest from MMOing.

The New World will still be there to wait for you when you come back.

@ alcarcalimo

it's not MMO burnout in general - it's GE burnout in particular.

and a rest from GE may be good, except, you know, i do worry about this blog....

Hi 9Moon, I totally understand your feeling abt PY, that why b4 I go in, I b there 5 to 10min b4 and form my own squad of FARMER UNION for farmer only, usually my member include my few regular and all other peaceful player farming SUN STONE. Once we have 12 member usually other PKer dare not come disturb us as we gangbang them. Avoid the usual hot channel when u see all All Star vs ENM, they go in to PVP and dun care u farmer or not. My Setup include 1 Elite Tank n 2 vets include ETS as buff n rez, I m the FL Devolton of CDL faction. We usually go 9.30pm PY. Cya there soon. Unit we stand divide we fall that my motto in PY.

welcome to the blog. It's a good thing that you've already organized your group to handle the new trend in Super Fights, and kudos to you and to your faction. Live long and prosper, and may you get many Sun Stones.

I think that's fairly common in this game. There's just not a lot of post vet content, really, other than more grinding. And almost everything that you can do (like PY) you have to fight other people to do, which just gets old.

I burned out a few months ago and started playing Lord of the Rings Online (simply because it has a lifetime sub for less than I've spent on this game). I play that whenever I get burnt out on GE.

The absolute worst thing to do when you start feeling burnt out is to keep playing it. That might put you off for good. But a rest can be good (was for me)

i'm taking a bit of a break from playing too, and hope that it works for me as it did for you.

it's just that i am also trying to NOT take a break from the blog - odd thing to insist on, i know.

hello :)

I understand you having fatigue in GE and as you may know, I already stopped playing months ago. I got tired and needed rest at first. But my break was too long that somehow, I don't want to come back.

Well I do come back from time to time just to help my old friends and faction mates but really...I got used to NOT play GE anymore so I really quit playing now. I focused my attention now to more important things. But it doesn't change the fact that I did love the game. Just that, I grew tired playing.

Anyway, just go and rest. But still play at least once a week or once per 2 weeks because if you don't, I think you would get the hang of not playing anymore. Well, that happened to me I dunno about you.

And about your blog? You could still blog about GE it's okay :) Although the down side of it is that, you won't know the current happenings inside the game but you can still update on things about the game :) or if you want to know the what's happening inside the game, go ask your friends or check the forums maybe there is some commotion there or something hahaha!

Anyway have a nice break :) Enjoy~ hahaha

@ deespania

thanks so much for the kind words. i will certainly keep the playing once or twice a week advice in mind.

about the forums...well, the drama gets tiring because it is quite repetitive, but i will also try to stay updated there.

thanks again.
